Double Trouble

Sunday September 28, 2003
From the forum: "I suffer from depression and my husband has bipolar disorder. We're not sure how to deal with each other's disorders and the symptoms that come with them. He has impulse and patience problems while I have a lot of self-esteem and self-confidence issues. We both are in counseling and are on medication. He has a lot of trouble understanding why I get cry over what seems to be nothing. And all I want is understanding. We both come from very abusive backgrounds. I am wondering if any of you have had some experience with this kind of thing and have any idea as how to handle this kind of situation."
