Poll: Should Minors Need Parental Permission to See a Doctor?

Thursday July 8, 2004
Should minors be required to get parental permission before being able to see a mental health professional? The poll is currently running against it, but personally I am in favor of it. As a mother, I want to be involved in my child's life and if something is hurting her I want to know. I also wouldn't want her taking psychiatric drugs without my knowledge. What's your opinion?
