Suicidal Man Charged With Murder in Train Wreck

On January 27 Los Angeles County prosecutors charged a man with 11 counts of murder, one for every person who died in a three train wreck after he backed out of a suicide attempt and abandoned his vehicle on the track causing a train to derail. Is it appropriate to charge him with murder? Share your opinion.
