Postpartum Psychosis

Wednesday August 30, 2006
Postpartum psychosis is a dangerous condition that affects over 4,000 women each year in the United States alone. Left untreated, it can lead to the death of a child or the death of the mother. There is a strong link between postpartum psychosis and bipolar disorder, and manic-depressive women are at a much greater than average risk for developing this serious illness.

I have a question I have postpartum psychosis/ Panic attacks and anxiety. I didn’t treat it when I should of I waited till I was actually having thoughts of hurting my husband… Does Citalopram help what I’m having?
