  1. Unless it is stated otherwise, all guidelines that apply to Room #1 also apply to Room #2.
  2. If you feel you are being triggered, you need to take care of yourself and take a break. If you cannot be responsible for your safety, you are probably not ready for this type of chat. PC’s are turned off during topic chats. Only PC's with hosts will be available.
  3. Please make every effort to be on time for chat meetings. The hosts will allow chatters to enter during the first 10 minutes of each chat meeting. If you know ahead of time that you will be late, please notify one of the hosts in advance.
  4. The hosts are always willing to help chatters in any way we can; however, during topic chats we ask that you not request a private chat or whisper with a host. We would like to handle as many issues in open chat as possible. These chats are designed to be more “free” than our regular chat room. Our hope is to provide an open, supportive environment for the group.
  5. The password to the group is confidential. Please do not share it with members outside of the group. If someone wishes to join the chat, please direct them to the host or the appropriate yahoo group.

The following are guidelines that apply to specific chats:

** Teen Chat - Although this chat is aimed at teens, we cannot guarantee that everyone who joins will be who they say they are. For this reason, please still be careful as you always should online. We suggest you do not give information of your real name, or where you live, any more specific than your state or Country. Please do not ask for such information from others

** Eating Disorder Chat - Members are not allowed to share diet tips, brag about disordered eating patterns, talk about how little or how much they weigh or discuss weight loss methods. No “numbers" are allowed, i.e. how much you weigh, your measurements or anything of that sort.

** Self-Injury Chat - Members may discuss the why’s of SI, but not the how’s. Discussing methods of self-harm is cause to be banned from the group. If you are in crisis, please call a crisis line, 911, or a local emergency number.
