Question: Do I Have to Take Medications for the Rest of My Life?
Answer: It is possible that you will need medications for the rest of your life, but it's also possible that you don't. It depends whether your depression is situational or if you have a defect within your brain that does not allow it to produce adequate amounts of serotonin. Your doctor may be able to give you a better answer about which type of depression you have.
