Tips for Coping With Antidepressant Side Effects

All antidepressants have potential side effects, although not everyone will experience all of them or to the same degree. Some side effects will go away on their own as your body adjusts to your medication. Others may never completely subside. It is important to speak to with your doctor about any side effects you experience, as some of these may be quite serious. Never stop your medication or adjust your dose without consulting your doctor first. You may experience a return of your depression or unpleasant symptoms called discontinuation syndrome.
