Question: How Common Is PMDD?
Answer:

About 75% of menstruating women experience minor premenstrual symptoms, while 20% to 25% will experience premenstrual syndrome (PMS). According to the DSM-IV, 3% to 5% of women will experience symptoms severe enough to be classified as premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).
