Many people have techniques they use to help reduce their stress, such as deep breathing or aromatherapy. Share your favorite tips here. Share Your Tips
mental picture
- When anxiety hits you, find out what thoughts trigger it. When the same thought creeps up again, picture it in your mind as a baseball (or anything you hit) and give it a good whack. This strategy has helped me immensely. I picture the thought as a gopher and I clobber it over the head with a cricket mallet (not sure whay cricket, I've never even held one before).

Physical Activity
- I've taken up psychology and there are many ways to cope with stress. However what may cope with stress to some people may not be the same with others. I believe that physical activity can be a very effective coping strategy. Many of us exercise regularly and not only it will help us deal with stress but it also strengthens our body to be able to protect ourselves from stressful events in the future. Engaging in physical activity is easy nowadays and I hope this can help many people cope with stress.

Stresses and how it can kill
- It has been said that stress does not really have any physical ailments but it is so not true. I have witnessed stress kill my mother ~ she was consumed by stress at that time and she had a massive stroke. Stress can shoot up blood pressure, cause migraine headaches, and other things that I cannot really call to mind right now. If you cannot get a hold on your stress levels, you can plummet into depression, which can eventually take you out of here altering you mind into suicidal thoughts or other thoughts that may not be as serious as this.

Stress and Pain
- I've had some impressive results using EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to resolve chronic back pain. It's a quick and easy method of tapping on acupressure points while stating and appropriate affirmation. Strangely, the emotional issue often resolves while tapping and the pain lessens or disappears. Try Googling EFT or search on mercola.com.

stress releaving
- stress is nothing but the accumulated unresolved thoughts. Thinking and search for solution is a the basic technique of human behaviourism. To come out of such stress the following steps must help to all who will practice it. Step I: Sit in confortable posture Step II: Clasp your palms together and keep on your lap Step III: Concentrate your mind at the cetre of you eyebrow Step IV: Relax your body and mind Step V: Allow all the the thoughts to come, dont resist. Allow the thought to suspened on your mind and you think deeper and deeper towards the non-thought state. Try to achive mental void condition. Observer your breeting only. Don't control your breething, only observe. Your breething is and instrument to let you know your stress condition. More you relax, your breething will be shortened. Wait for the shortest stroke of breething. In such condition relax more and forget about breeting also. For sure you will be out of tension. Be in the same posture as long as you like.
