Have you had Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) Therapy? Share your experiences on the forum with others who may be considering this therapy. Please include things such as: your treatment history before starting this therapy, how well it worked for you, any pain or discomfort, would you recommend it to others and any advice you'd give someone who is thinking about having it.

Appreciate your inputs on VNS, but would appreciate input how people are paying for it. Medicare, Insurance?
i had the surgery may 5th of this year. Pain was not too bad. My biggest problem was that i just got my voice back after 3 months which was pretty scarey. I have not noticed any change with my depression yet.
I was approved for the surgery after many, many different tries at meds and they did not help my major depression.
